White Lion enjoyed a comfortable victory in their pre-season clash with Horse and Farrier on Saturday. Dodging the weather on a very grassy Siddal Moor pitch, Lion were far too good for their opponents from Norden, running out 9-3 winners. Star of the show in terms of goals was Ste Cass, who scored four, while there were also two apiece from Nathan Bates and Lewis Kershaw and one from Matt Baker. Man of the match went to Rhys Lewis.
