Bury: Drugs Raids Prove Effective

Five people are in custody and millions of pounds worth of drugs have been taken off the streets of Bury following police raids. During raids on Tuesday 15 January 2013, officers seized 30 kilos of heroin and 30 kilos of amphetamine. The haul has an estimated street value of between £12m and £20m. Officers have arrested five people, four men and one woman, on suspicion of supplying of class A drugs and they are currently being questioned.
