Dismal Seconds Put In A Tame Performance

Hooley Bridge Celtic seconds stayed top of Division A of the Lancashire and Cheshire League despite a dismal performance at home to Spurley Hey on Saturday at Queen’s Park. They went down to a 3-0 defeat and never threatened the visitors in the second period. However, they are still ahead of Cheadle Hulme Villa on goal difference, although the South Manchester team do have a game in hand.
